North and South axis, looks marvelous when the image of Taj reflects on the
water of the pool. Besides the tombs of Mumtaj Mahal and Shah Jahan, Taj
Mahal complex also have the tombs of other wives of Shah Jahan and the tomb
of the favorite maidservant of Mumtaj Mahal. These structures are composed
of red sandstone.

There is no such thing as the best time to visit because Taj
Mahal looks awesome in every season and every hour. But than also winter
season i. e from October to March is most suitable time to visit it because
winter lends a different aura to it.

Agra Fort: Agra Fort is situated at distance of 2.5km north west of
Taj Mahal in Agra. It was designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It
is one of the famous fort in India where the Mughal Emperor like Babur,
Humayun, Akbar, Jehangir, Shah Jahan, and Aurangzeb have stayed and reign
the country. Some of the beautiful sites inside the Agra Fort are Anguri
Bagh, Diwan-i-Am, Diwan-i-Khas and Golden Pavillions.
Fatehpur Sikri: It is a city built by Emperor Akbar between 1571 to
1585 A.D and is located a distance of 37km from Agra. Emperor Akbar wants to
rule the country from here but due to scarcity of water he has to leave this
place. The monuments of this place is a fine example of Hindu and Muslim
architecture and predominantly made up of red sandstone. Some of the prime
attractions of Fatehpur Sikri are Diwan-i-Am, Diwan-khana-i-khas, Hawa
Mahal, Nagina Masjid, Palace of Joda Bai and Birbal's palace.
